The assignment for the first module is simple: gather your materials, and find a corner in your house where you can play with paint and work on your collages. This space does not need to be big. Since you are working on a small scale and with few materials you only need a small space. You can also create a mobile studio, by collecting all of your art materials in a box, and get your materials out the moment that you start making art.
Remember, you can use the three colors that I used in this course, but you can also use other yellowish, reddish or bluish colors. For the yellowish color, I recommend buying the Golden Fluid Acrylics Quinacridone Nickel Azo Gold (QNAG), though, since it is transparent and very highly pigmented. If you want to have a more yellow transparent color (instead of the more yellow-brown color of QNAG) you might consider Golden Fluid Acrylics Quinacridone Nickel Azo Yellow, which is also transparent and highly pigmented.
